WILDCARD:

Yes, our fav privateer was awarded the Wildcard entry for World Superbike! The WSBK event was held at Miller Motorsports Park, Tooele, Utah, May 29 - June 1, 2008.

Scooter raced both the WSBK event and the AMA SBK/Superstock races. The weekend was extremely hectic. Scott was on track for almost 7 hours on Saturday with the AMA SBK #1 race; back to back with the AMA Superstock race; back to back with WSBK Superpole. On Sunday he had WSBK #1, then AMA #2, then WSBK #2.

Scott would like to thank everyone for the tremendous outpouring of support. He was overwhelmed by his extended race family's determination to make this opportunity happen. The price tag for WSBK (just entry fees and spec tires alone) was just under $10,000. Scott truly appreciated all of the donations, fund-raising efforts, and spreading o' the word. He would like everyone to know that he would not have been able to compete in WSBK without your support.
